Courage isn’t just a personal act; it’s a contagion. A force that, once ignited, spreads like wildfire, lighting up not just the person who owns it, but everyone in their sphere. I’ve felt it firsthand these past few weeks, specifically through the women of Engaging – this wave of courage that ripples out from within me and touches everything I do. It’s like the energy shifts when we choose to stop hiding, stop shrinking, and stand fully in our power. That was fully evident during our women’s intensive.
I’ve always known that courage was powerful, but I never fully understood just how contagious it could be. It’s one of those things you can’t quite grasp until you experience it. Until you step into a room, a conversation, or even a project with full, unapologetic confidence, and suddenly, others start showing up with their own sense of boldness. It’s a magnetic force, one that doesn’t just stay with the person who embraces it. It reaches beyond, planting seeds in the hearts of those around them.
This is what I’ve realized: Courage isn’t just about doing the big, daring things. It’s about those quiet moments when we make the choice to show up as we truly are, without apology, and completely authentic. It’s in the conversations we have when we stop censoring our truths, when we speak up even when we’re not sure how it will be received. When we stop dimming ourselves to make others feel comfortable and instead choose to let our light shine so brightly that it gives others permission to do the same.
The truth is, courage doesn’t come from waiting for the perfect moment or having all the answers. It comes from stepping into the unknown, trusting that you have everything you need within you to handle whatever comes next. And when you do this—when you choose to trust yourself and your intuition—you inspire others to do the same. You create a ripple effect that has the power to transform not only your own life but the lives of everyone around you.
In my own journey, I’ve realized how much I’ve been holding myself back, letting fear and old patterns of self-doubt dictate my actions. But when I took that first step, when I allowed myself to truly own my voice and my space, something always shifted. I started to notice how others responded to that shift. They didn’t just see me as a leader or a guide; they saw the possibility in themselves. They began to show up with more courage, more authenticity, more willingness to take risks and face their own fears.
That’s the beauty of courage. It doesn’t just change the person who chooses it—it spreads. It creates a ripple that travels through relationships, businesses, and communities, awakening people to the power that’s always been inside them. It’s contagious in the most beautiful way. And the more we share it, the more we create spaces where others can feel safe to do the same.
As I continue on this journey, I see how courage is the key to everything I’ve been seeking. It’s the key to creating the life I want, to breaking through the limitations I’ve set for myself, and to building a community of people who are willing to show up as their true selves. The more I lean into my own courage, the more I inspire others to do the same. And in that space, everything becomes possible.
Courage is a contagion. When we choose to step into our power and live unapologetically, we not only transform ourselves but spark a fire in others. And together, we create a world where authenticity, boldness, and fearless living are the norms—not the exceptions.
